Hi, I'm Mr Chan (right). I am a dedicated mathematics teacher with six years of teaching experience having taught hundreds of different students ranging from Year 2 all the way to Year 12. I have been studying at the University of Sydney, now in my final year of my double degree of a Bachelor of Education & Arts. I have had professional experience teaching students ranging from Year 7 to Year 12 at Holroyd High School (2022), Thomas Hassall Anglican College (2023), and Cabramatta High School (2023, 2024).

Hi, I'm Sir Kim (left). I am a dedicated mathematics teacher with quite the repertoire of ability in senior mathematics. I have been studying Software Engineering at the University of New South Wales. Most of you might know me as the guy who created this very website. I hope to leverage my programming skills to provide a better learning experience for all of our students in a bid to break out of the traditional methods.

'Rise Up Education' was named as it is because the vision is to make education better for students (rising them up) and revolutionise the classroom (rising up the quality of education) with activities and lessons that produce meaningful learning.

This can be accomplished through having a carefully developed program based on the syllabus, giving students access to online resources, differentiating learning for all ability levels, as well as having dedicated and passionate educators that teach meaningfully and help students wherever possible. This is our guarantee to all students who enrol with us.

The program overview for each grade as well as the order of the topics & lessons have been developed with insight from personal experience as well as the programs of experienced high school mathematics teachers.
Students will be given online access to resources (posted weekly), including the recording of the lesson, homework, activities, and further worksheets and materials.
Students will learn with a mentor who dedicates themselves to education and strives to make lessons fun, engaging and enriching. The success and wellbeing of our students is our number one priority.
Students are offered additional materials of varying difficulties as not all students learn at the same pace. This ensures that no students are left behind, and no students left ‘bored’ with nothing to do.
The learning is our classrooms is meaningful, rather than memorised and rote-learned without understanding. The lessons and activities help students make connections between mathematics and the real-world.
Students can ask for help with questions through email and receive help as needed. Students can also attend a free homework class every Thursday from 6pm to 8pm to receive extra assistance with their questions from tutoring or from school. The students in our classes will always be supported as much as we possibly can.
Every lesson is recorded and uploaded online for students to rewatch and revise content.
